Our 1x19 galvanized steel wire rope is galvanized with a thin layer of zinc that protects the material from corrosion and prevents rust. It is most typically used in marine rigging, automotive and architectural applications, gut wires, balustrades and railings.
The 1x19 galvanized steel wire rope is made up of 19 single strands of rope, 12 outer strands, 6 inner strands and 1 strand for the centre core. They are available in range of diameters up to 26mm with 1mm to 5mm options available for direct online purchase.
Boasting a very high tensile strength, minimal stretch properties and considered a rigid (non-flexible) rope that can handle significant loads.
Our 1x19 construction rope is ideal for static and semi-static loads and is often used for yacht rigging or balustrades, guy wires and railings and other architectural applications.
